Coast Rush

Take the scenic route. Make it a little faster.

Coast Rush is our new family-friendly arcade driving game. The prototype now has traffic to dodge, timed coastal drives and a leaderboard saved on each device. Our goal is sunny road trips with a modern, stylised 3D look and welcoming, forgiving handling.

What’s new in this build
  • New Level 3: Midnight City, a longer 6 km inner-city drive at night. All three levels are selectable immediately.
  • Six urban districts with tall buildings, illuminated windows, neon accents, street lamps and working headlights. Denser same-direction traffic keeps overtaking busy.
  • Choose a level from Menu, or continue with Next Level after finishing. Each route has its own device-local best times; retry stays on the selected level.
  • Midnight City starts with 45 seconds and adds 35 seconds at five kilometre checkpoints. The coastal and sunset routes retain their existing layout and timing.
  • Optional in-game updates need no login; installation requires your confirmation. Initial website downloads require an invited tester account.
  • Development build. Native Windows and physical Android playtesting remain unverified.

Development prototype: Windows is unsigned and Android is development-signed. Automated gameplay checks include Windows/Wine testing and simulated multitouch. Native Windows and physical Android installation and performance testing remain pending. No online leaderboard. Engine, driving effects and an arcade finish fanfare are included; physical-device audio testing remains pending. The artwork above is a concept, not gameplay.

The road ahead

  • Bright coastal scenery, sweeping bends and colourful cars
  • Easy-to-learn arcade steering with room to improve
  • Branching routes that turn each drive into a little adventure
  • Checkpoint challenges and a relaxed drive without the timer

These are planned ideas, not confirmed final features.
